Metamask® Chrome® Extension® | Getting started with MetaMask

To add the MetaMask extension to your browser, follow these steps:

1. Open your browser: Launch your preferred web browser.
2. Go to the MetaMask website: Type "MetaMask" into your search engine or directly navigate to metamask.io.
3. Install MetaMask: On the MetaMask website, you should see an option to "Get Chrome Extension" or "Get Firefox Add-On" (depending on your browser). Click on it.
4. Add to Browser: You will be redirected to the Chrome Web Store or Mozilla Add-ons page. Click on the "Add" or "Install" button to add MetaMask to your browser.
5. Add Extension: A pop-up window will appear asking for confirmation to add the extension. Click "Add Extension" to proceed.
6. Set Up MetaMask: Once installed, you will see the MetaMask icon in your browser toolbar. Click on it to start the setup process.
7. Create a Wallet: Follow the prompts to create a new wallet or import an existing one if you have a seed phrase.
8. Secure Your Wallet: Set up a strong password and store your seed phrase in a safe place. This seed phrase is crucial for recovering your wallet if you ever lose access to it.
9. Explore MetaMask: Once your wallet is set up, you can start using MetaMask to interact with decentralized applications (dApps) and manage your cryptocurrencies.
